Question of the Day:
What is your favorite ice cream flavor? My favorite ice cream is Jeni’s Intelligentsia Black Cat Espresso.
I wish I’d read about asking strangers to take our photo on trips. I realize now that I don’t have a single photo of Dan and I together when we spent a couple of days in Amsterdam last week! I’m so weird about handing off my equipment to a stranger.
I agree about being cautious with iPhones and cameras especially in areas known for tourist scams. I usually ask people if they would like me to take their photo. Most people are genuinely nice and will return the favor. When I was in San Antonio, I wanted a photo at a coffee shop. I was sitting next to a couple and the gentleman offered to take a photo. His wife told me he was a professional photographer. You never know who you may meet in a coffee shop or on vacation. I also try to find Instagram meet-ups or photo walks. This is a fun way to hang out with other photographers
